A GLS shipment has a single parcel: for more, place a separate order for each one.

What to avoid

Parcels over 200 x 80 x 60 cm, or with a girth over 300 cm (2 x height + 2 x width + length): GLS does not accept them.
Contents GLS excludes: fragile goods that need careful handling, perishable products, live animals and plants, jewellery, precious metals, works of art, ADR dangerous goods.
Addresses on EU islands on International Export (Canaries, Balearics, Corsica, Sicily, Sardinia, Crete): GLS through woot.ro does not deliver there, and you pay for the round trip.

Questions about GLS

How long does a GLS delivery take?

On Pick & Ship and Standard, delivery takes 24-48 hours, and on Address - location 24-96 hours. If you order by 15:00 on a working day, the courier collects on the next working day; after 15:00, within 2 working days.

What is the difference between Pick & Ship and Standard?

On Pick & Ship the courier arrives with the AWB already printed, so you do not need a printer. On Standard you print the AWB yourself and stick it on the parcel. Both carry parcels of up to 31 kg from address to address.

Does GLS deliver on Saturday?

GLS delivers Monday to Friday, and the Saturday delivery option is not available on Pick & Ship. If you need Saturday delivery, pick a courier in the calculator that offers it.

How long does the parcel stay in a GLS Locker or Parcel Shop?

The recipient has 7 days to pick it up. At the locker they open the box with the PIN code received by SMS, and at a Parcel Shop they show their ID card and the shipment number.

What happens if the recipient is not at home?

The courier can hand the parcel to a neighbour, who signs for it, or leave a notice and take the parcel back to the depot. If the last delivery attempt also fails, the parcel comes back to you after 5 working days in storage.

How does the recipient pay the cash on delivery amount at the locker?

Online, via the link received by SMS; after paying they get the PIN code that opens the box. At Parcel Shops they also pay by card. If you want the money sooner, turn on Fast payout.

Is my parcel insured?

Every parcel sent through woot.ro includes free compensation of up to 5x the shipping cost. For more valuable contents, you can insure it for up to 10,000 lei.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, from the order page, as long as the courier has not collected the parcel. You get the money back instantly as woot credits, or within 12-24 hours in the account you paid from.

What if the courier does not show up?

Open a support ticket from the order page. If you would rather not wait, you can cancel the order as long as the parcel has not been collected.
