woot.ro is an online courier platform for individuals and companies. You compare the prices of 12 courier companies, book the courier and track the parcel from a single account, with no contract and no subscription: you only pay for what you send, at woot.ro rates. A wootPRO subscription is only needed if you ship with your own courier contracts. The platform is operated by SEZELIA COM SRL (tax ID RO37943223).
In Romania, prices start from 4.99 lei + VAT for an envelope. The final price depends on the weight and size of the parcel, the destination and the courier you choose. You see it exactly, before you order, in the price calculator. Through woot.ro you pay up to 50% less than the couriers' standard rates and there is no subscription: you only pay for the parcels you send.
Through woot.ro you can send with FAN Courier, Sameday, Cargus, DPD, GLS, Posta Romana, PTT Express, Dragon Star, Sinapseria, UPS, DHL and FedEx. You can deliver to an address or to more than 17,600 lockers and pickup points in Romania, and internationally to more than 240 countries and territories.
The courier phone number shows up automatically on the delivery day in your woot account, on the parcel page. You also get it in the SMS sent 30-60 minutes before delivery. Before the delivery day the courier has not picked the parcel up and cannot be contacted directly.
When you send a parcel through woot you can add Shipment insurance for roughly 1% of the declared value. In case of loss or damage you receive 100% of the insured amount. Note: insurance does not replace proper packaging - if that is missing, compensation may be refused.
Use a rigid cardboard box, filling material (bubble wrap, crumpled paper) and adhesive tape on every edge. Fragile items are wrapped individually. All the packaging you need - boxes, envelopes, bubble wrap, tape - is in our shop, delivered quickly to your door.
Most of the time no. Redirecting to a new address is effectively a new delivery, with a 24-48 hour term. For Sameday deliveries in Bucharest the change must be made before 12:00, otherwise it is rescheduled for the next day.
The courier delivers parcels without checking the contents, so woot cannot step into a product dispute. Contact the sender (the seller) directly for a return or a replacement. If you suspect fraud, you can notify the competent authorities.
Parcels are delivered sealed and cannot be opened before payment. Exception: if the sender chose the Open on delivery / Check on Delivery option, the courier lets you open and check the parcel in their presence before you pay.
